I have a two year old female red cap and she keeps spawning.?

she has spawned twice in the last three weeks, will she keep doing this? My male calico fertilized the eggs before i had change to get rid of them all and some started to grow but the filter sucked them up. \\\\will this keep happening as it makes a mess of my filter?
