How big will my goldfish get?

I got a calico ryukin goldfish about 4 months ago. He is getting big fast and i want to know how big will he get. My tank is for one goldfish, and it is is 1.77 gallons. Will he be okay in that? Right now he seem's like he's doing great in it, he is not sick and is very beuatiful and healthy right now.
