My kitten has round pupils?

They are always round, not just when he's scared. He is also very scrawny and has black and white hair (but the hair on his body is more auburn). His sister is a calico with slanted eyes and alot bigger and heathier looking. They eat the same amount though. He is very timid too. Could this be some kind of genetic disorder?
