I'm getting a vaccine tomorrow...?

So I have to get a vaccine for high school next year and my problem is, god, am I scared of injections! I can't stand those things, and parents aren't helping in consoling me. Last year they had to extract blood from me on both arms (the first arm failed; too much pressure/fear) and I got really, really dizzy afterwards. I'm afraid something similar will happen and of course I don't want to look like a coward. Are the injection things similar for vaccines and blood exams? Because the blood one was so thick! In other words, I'm freaking out here!
